Interoperability

Your systems stay.
We make them talk.

We're not another wealth aggregation platform. We take the systems you already have and allow them to talk with one another - removing the friction points and giving you greater visibility across your data, by breaking down the three walls between your family office, the companies you own, and the information that travels between them.

What the problem sounds like

Not a market trend - the words of principals and controllers running multi-company family operations today. Each quote is drawn from a real working engagement; identifying details removed.

I get a text every week from one of the companies: send money, or need money. That text is my consolidated cash report.
Principal - family office, six companies
If I have to call the controller every Tuesday just to ask where payroll stands and how much cash they need - that's the problem, not the companies.
Principal - on weekly cash calls
The close runs thirty to forty-five days. With the information she already has sitting in her system, it could be done in three.
Controller - industrial services company
Five companies, five separate cash models, every number updated by hand. Nobody can drill into anything without a week of emails.
Principal - on rolling forecasts
One emails a spreadsheet package. Another sends reports straight from the accounting system. A third drops financials in a shared folder at month end. Nothing ties together.
Office staff - on monthly reporting
Every week it's the same routine: export, reformat, copy into the template, sync, fix the errors, sync again, reconcile against the totals. Hours, every single week.
Controller - on moving numbers between systems
The Structure of the Problem

Three walls

Across every engagement, the same three walls appear - no matter the industry, the systems, or the size of the operation.

WALL ONE
Inside the family office
Reporting arrives in mixed formats, on mixed cadences, by email and shared folder. The consolidated picture - cash, profitability, exposure - is assembled by hand, weeks after the fact, and is stale the moment it's finished.
Three companies, three formats, nothing consolidated.- Office staff, monthly reporting
WALL TWO
Inside the companies
Each company runs its own stack - operations in one system, payroll in another, accounting in a third. Numbers are rekeyed at every hop, so job costs, receivables, and cash never quite agree, and closing the books takes weeks.
Export, reformat, copy, sync, fix errors, sync again. Hours, every week.- Controller, weekly upload cycle
WALL THREE
Between office and companies
The information that should flow between them moves by phone call, text, and attachment. The principal waits on people to move numbers that already exist in a system somewhere - just not in a system that talks to the office.
Send money, or need money. That text is my cash report.- Principal, weekly cadence

Each wall looks like a people problem. It isn't. The data already exists, inside systems the companies already own - it simply has no way to travel. Remove the walls and the same team, the same systems, and the same numbers become an operating picture that assembles itself.

The Approach

A connection layer, not another platform

Nothing migrates. Nothing gets ripped and replaced. The systems you own stay exactly where they are - we build the layer between them.

01 - Systems Stay

Your systems remain the source of truth

Read-only connectors pipe data out of the accounting, payroll, banking, and operational systems each company already runs. No migration project, no new system employees have to learn, no disruption to the daily close.

02 - Counted Once

Every record lands once, normalized

All sources flow into one landing place where records are matched to common dimensions - company, customer, job, account - and deduplicated, so a payment never counts twice and a number never disagrees with itself.

03 - Traceable

Every figure carries its lineage

Any number on any screen can be opened to show where it came from: which system, which record, when it was pulled, what was transformed. If a figure can't defend itself back to its source, it doesn't belong on the screen.

In the working demo, every figure is clickable - open any cash balance, any receivable, any record count, and the system shows the full chain from source to screen. That is the standard we build to: numbers that can always answer "where did this come from?"

The Outcome

What changes

30–45 days3 days
Close cycle. The controller's own estimate: the close compresses from over a month to inside a week once the numbers stop being rekeyed between systems.
A weekly textA live picture
Cash visibility. Consolidated cash and a rolling 13-week runway across every company - drilled from the family total down to a single bank record, without a single phone call.
Hours weeklyMinutes of review
Report assembly. The export-reformat-sync-fix-resync routine disappears; what remains is reviewing the handful of items the system flags for a human.
RekeyedCounted once
Trust in the numbers. Payroll, payables, receivables, and bank activity land in one normalized store - matched, deduplicated, and traceable, so the total always ties to its parts.
